Students read long assignments on small screens with bad connections. Everything else followed from that.
Lessons are progressively cached, the reader remembers position across devices, and the type scale was tuned on an actual train rather than a desk monitor.
The editor for tutors is deliberately plain: a text field, a deadline and a rubric.
